This month called for a purification of the past year and a cleaning out of the old feelings, people, and work that no longer serves us anymore. Juniper moon lotion bars were made with love on the Capricorn new moon and are inspired and made with, a beautiful sister, Holistic Wellness consultant Jewlz Marie from Illuminate: a wellness collective. The berries were picked at a friend’s home in the Morongo Basin.
For most of us, 2016 was a traumatic year. The dark side of ourselves and others emerged revealing the trauma in, not only our own past but of our collective history. Now we know what the issues are, 2017 will be about how we respond to it. In order to respond to it, especially if we want to respond to it collectively, we must let go and let flow. Here’s where Juniper holds the magic.
Recommended Use:
Run a warm bath or shower. If you have any acne or eczema apply the exfoliating berries directly to the area and let sit for a couple minutes. When rubbing the bar on your body allow any ideas or feelings that no longer serve you to come up as they do and let yourself feel them without judgement, place them in a blue imaginary ball–like a bubble– outside of yourself. As you massage the bar into your skin, take the time to tell each part of your body that it deserves to be cared for, that it deserves the best. Have gratitude for taking the time for giving yourself the luxury of this moment. When your ready to wash it off breathe in and out deeply and calmly and blow the bubble further away on your exhale until it is gone. Repeat until the bar is finished.
